Feature Voting and a Public Roadmap, Set Up in 3 Steps
Short answer: UserFB gives every product a feedback board where users submit ideas and upvote the ones they want. You publish a Planned / In progress / Shipped roadmap from the same items, and when you mark one shipped, the people who voted for it are emailed automatically. Voting is free; the roadmap is on Pro at $19.9 per year.
How It Works
- 1
Create a product
Sign up, create a product in the dashboard and you get a public feedback board right away. Share the link or embed it in your app with an iframe.
- 2
Users submit and vote
Users post ideas and upvote the ones they want, one vote each. While they type a new idea, similar ones are suggested so they vote instead of posting a duplicate. Sort the board by top voted to see what matters most.
- 3
Publish the roadmap and ship
Turn on the public roadmap with one switch. Tick “Show on roadmap” to list an idea under Planned, set it in progress, then mark it shipped with an optional release note — voters and the original submitter get an email.
One vote per user
Votes are tied to the signed-in user, so counts reflect real people, not refreshes.
Duplicate suggestions
Similar ideas show up while a user types, keeping votes on one item.
Three-column roadmap
Planned, In progress and Shipped — driven by the status you already set on each item.
Ship notifications
Each item notifies its voters once when it ships, with your release note.
Coming from Canny or Tuxiaochao?
UserFB covers the voting + roadmap + ship-notification loop at a fraction of the price. Read the Canny alternative comparison, the Tuxiaochao alternative guide, or what a user feedback platform is.
